Tumble Tots

FREE fun for under 5s

On six of our most popular parcs, we’ve joined together with Tumble Tots, the UK’s leading provider of physical play programmes for toddlers, to create something extra special for the under 5s. Designed just for little Keycampers, the Tumble Tots sessions are divided into 3 age groups, plus there's also a Gymbabes programme developed especially for 6 months - walking. Find out more about each age group below:

(6 months - Walking)
The Gymbabes programme is similar to the ‘regular’ UK programme, but lasts for 30 minutes, commencing with a gentle warm up and action song. The equipment is set up randomly enabling the babies to travel in any direction.  Parents/guardians work very closely with their babies throughout the session and our Tumble Tots couriers will suggest different uses of the equipment depending on the ability of the child.  The session concludes with an action song and sticker time.

Walking - 2 years
This programme is very similar to the ‘regular’ UK programme and lasts for 30 minutes. The equipment is set up in a circuit and the children are encouraged to work their way around it, plus co-ordination items are available for the children to play with. After 10 minutes the children and parents/guardian make a circle for some rhymes and an action song. They then return to the equipment and finally another circle time to bring the session to a close.

2-3 years
This programme is quite different to the ‘regular’ UK programme and lasts for 30 minutes. The equipment is set up in a circuit with co-ordination items in the middle. This encourages children to explore without the restriction of staying at one 'station'. The circle times remain the same, beginning the session with one with a little chat session and an action song. The class will then conclude with another circle, singing an action song and sticker time. 

3-5 years
This programme is quite different to the ‘regular’ UK programme and lasts for 45 minutes. The equipment is laid out in a circuit rather than in ‘stations’, with co-ordination items in the middle. This encourages children to explore without the restriction of staying at one 'station'. The circle times remain the same, beginning the session with one with a little chat session and an action song. The class will then conclude with another circle, singing an action song and sticker time.  

Parachute Fun!
This session is available for children from walking – 5 years.  It is a 30 minute session to have fun with the parachute.  This activity can take place inside or outside, depending on numbers and weather!

Session Guidelines

• All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
• Bare feet are best for Tumble Tots
• Please ensure that suitable leg-wear is worn to allow free movement
• Parents/guardians should wear comfortable clothing and footwear
• Please, do not wear high heels or stilettos as they can damage little hands and feet as well as the equipment
• Support your child by holding the back of his/her T-shirt. Avoid holding his/her hand as these need to be free for climbing and to aid balance
• Children quickly gain confidence when allowed to solve their own problems. It is vital however, that you remain alert at all times to support and encourage where necessary
