A lakeside parc by the Compiègne Forest. Ideal as a main holiday destination or for a stopover/short break to Disneyland® Resort Paris.

Set beside a meandering river and within walking distance of Vic-sur- Aisne, the attractively landscaped parkland has tall poplar trees and weeping willows. The old stone farm buildings which house the restaurant and bar have been tastefully converted and the terrace overlooks the swimming pool, which features indoor waterslides and a covered pool. In addition you can hire pedalos and canoes on the small parc lake. Plus there is a lake for swimming and another for fishing. If you’re in need of some real pampering, don’t forget to book yourself into the fantastic spa and beauty therapy centre. The parc also has a ‘pub’ complex with underground disco for teenagers. There will be a new outdoor pool complex built for 2010.

Around and About

Walking, cycling and pony trekking in the nearby forest are popular family outings. Compiègne, the Royal Palace of Louis XIV is well worth a visit. Disneyland® Resort Paris and the centre of Paris are just over an hour and a half drive. The huge 12th century fairytale castle dominates the village of Pierrefonds, thirteen and a half miles away.
