Overview

For endless unspoiled sand and surf, head for this oceanfront parc on the Outer Banks. It’s just a few steps from your parc, over the dunes and right to the Atlantic. Walk the beach for miles, hunting for shells, casting for bluefish and scouring the surface for dolphins that can often be seen. Or head across this sliver of an island, it’s just a quarter of a mile wide, to Pamlico Sound, where windsurfers and kiteboarders are frequently found.

There’s also a full roster of summer activities at the campground - everything from pool games to basketball tournaments, craft activities like bead jewellery making, live skits and live music provided by the Summershiners. Entertain yourself renting a kayak or paddleboat. Cool off with a dip in either of two pools or grab a bite to eat at the poolside café. There is also a fun train, jumping pillow (like a bouncy castle), kayak rental, cycle hire, mini golf and fishing available on this parc so you will never be short of things to do.
