One of France’s top parcs - opposite Carnac’s famous standing stones and close to sandy beaches.

This parc, with a beautiful setting in the grounds of an old Breton Manor, is close to numerous splendid beaches and family friendly attractions. There is a superb waterpark with a covered pool, slides and lazy river overlooked by the restaurant, and a thrilling zip wire adventure course and, for gentler thrills, a mini farm. In high season, there is an organised programme of activities and the amphitheatre is the venue for evening entertainment, which can be heard in some areas of the parc. The beach is a twenty minute bike ride away from the parc on quiet roads.

This beautifully designed pool complex is outstanding in its number of facilities, boasting waterslides, waterfalls, a river, family pools and toddler pools as well as a whirlpool and Jacuzzi. With the perfectly located Blue Lagoon bar and terrace, why not take a quick break from the water and have a refreshing drink or ice cream before relaxing on the sunloungers around the pool.

Kids just want to have fun...whatever age they are. With our holiday clubs there's fun and games to keep everyone happy. Our fantastic kids' clubs provide the perfect place to let them have bags of fun and expend some of that boundless energy in a safe and happy environment.

Sports and games on offer are geared to the different age groups, so there's no chance of the kids getting bored. The relaxed and friendly nature of parc life makes it easy for them to mingle and make new friends.

Out and about

You can walk or cycle past the famous standing stones that run for two miles from the parc. Carnac Plage has a lively atmosphere and an excellent range of restaurants. Visit the ancient Breton town of Auray with its attractive medieval harbour on market day and explore the old streets of Vannes. For a change of pace you can explore the beautiful Brière Regional Park to the south and the Gulf of Morbihan.

Attractions

Aquarium de Vannes

The aquarium has 50 tanks with none resembling its neighbour. Discover some of the curiosities which make the aquarium a 'must see'. There is a gift shop and restaurants. Allow 90 minutes for a visit.

Aquarive

25 metre swimming pool with lift for handicapped persons. Fun pool with water chute and wave machine. Jacuzzi and solarium.

Parc de Branféré

Botanical animal and bird park set in 35 hectares of land. Château visits. Restaurant and snack bar.

Archeoscope

Archeoscope is located across from the Alignements de Menhirs. It offers a 25 minute special effects show that takes viewers back to Neolithic times.

Abbaye Sainte Anne de Kergonan

Benedictine Abbey founded in 1897.

Château de Suscinio

Impressive moated fortress built in the 13th century, the home of various Dukes of Brittany used a base for hunting. The castle also houses a museum of the history of Brittany and the Morbihan area. Close to Vannes, at Sarzeau

La Ferme du Monde

400 breeding animals from the 5 continents living in semi liberty in pleasant wooded surroundings. Approximately a 2 hour visit. Less known animals such as yak, buffalo & camels. Children's farm where it is possible to stroke & handle the animals. An enjoyable & educational experience. Snack bar & souvenir shop.

Ocearium du Croisic

A great aquarium which explores the sea life from all the oceans of the world. Over 2000m of floorspace and more than 40 aquariums with more than 200 species of fish

Reserve des Marais de Séné

This nature reserve was created in 1996 and extends over 410 hectares of land. This reserve is of international importance for supporting the reproduction of migratory birds. Four observatories with telescopes allow visitors to watch the birds.

Musée National de la Marine

The Museum presents a beautiful collection of models of ships & memorabilia related to the oceans.

Musee de Prehistoire de Carnac

This museum was created in 1882 and is renowned as having one of the best exhibitions of archeology and prehistory. With a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions there is plenty to see in a visit.
