North of Lisbon, Peniche used to be an island. A quaint fishing port, the town is now connected to the mainland, after the narrow straits silted up. The nearby medieval town of Óbidos, a World Heritage Site, is one of the most beautiful along the Atlantic coast. Praia del Rey resort has a selection of high quality terracotta-roofed townhouses and villas with pools and sports facilities - enough to keep everyone happy. Sample mouth-watering local cuisine, in particular the seafood, accompanied of course by the region's excellent local wine.

Beds made on arrival, towels and parking. Bed linen and towels are changed midweek. Maid service 5 times a week. Please note: We don’t have our own couriers in resort, but the staff at reception are friendly and helpful and will be able to advise you on any queries you may have.
