Situated on a hillside with superb views across the bay, this large, lively parc is ideal for families with teenagers.

Castell Montgri is a complete holiday village with one thing on its mind: fun! With its sunny terraces surrounding good sized swimming pools, its lively programme of activities day and night and its popular bar and restaurant, the parc is a great choice for families seeking a lively summer together. Some of our pitches are grassy, steeply terraced and at the top of the parc, whilst others are nearer to the main facilities. The parc also runs a free bus service in high season to the lively resort and gently shelving sandy beach at Estartit, one mile away. Please be aware that access to the facilities from some areas of the parc are up a steep hill and therefore not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Pools

Offering incredible pool facilities, this full on fun parc is great for water lovers. Boasting a panoramic pool with magnificent views and a poolside bar, the complex isn’t too bad for relaxation either! The kids will enjoy the L’Ombra pool with its waterslides and Ice Cream Parlour whereas the adults may prefer the La Bassa pool ornamented with pine trees and beautifully illuminated at night.

We also walked to the top of Mont Estartit, the view was spectacular! Would advise you wear good shoes though, it was difficult in flip flops! Would also take plenty of water and a snack for when you reach the top. Carcassonne over the border in France is lovely."

"L'Estartit town itself is gorgeous. Mont Pla restaurant and cocktail bar run by Carlos and his family, located outside the campsite with crazy golf and tennis was a great place to go on an evening. Girona is gorgeous and accessible by the local bus service, as is Torroella. Barcelona is a little over 2 hours away and you can visit via an organised trip from the parc, it's well worth it. A huge hit with my family was the Aquadiver waterpark - a fantastic day out."
