"Would recommend the 'Friends' bar/restaurant next to the campsite on the beach and the pizzeria across the main road."
P. Hartley, Wiltshire
"We thought Cambrils and Salou were excellent for shopping and eating, and had a great day on catamaran and glass bottom boat trips here."
A. Southan, Staffordshire
"Tarragona was beautiful, very laid back and really enjoyable spending the day strolling and exploring the Roman ruins. The Gaudi museum in Reus was great for an introduction the Gaudi for the children and the audio tour really engaged them. The Barcelona Aquarium was a big hit too - the shark tunnel was great and a holiday highlight for our kids."
E. Podmore, London
"It's useful to have a car here, and make sure you visit Port Aventura and Aquapolis waterpark. The Tarragona bus tour is very good and we enjoyed tapas in the old town. Cambrils is good for seafood and ice cream parlours."
M. French, Essex
"We went to Tarragona and took the little tourist train around the town which was nice. The kids enjoyed Aquapolis waterpark in Salou but beware of paying for all the extras once you're in - €5 for a locker, €5 for a rubber ring and €5 for a sunbed! We also visited Port Aventura which the kids loved but was a bit pricey. We spent a few of our evenings in Cambrils. It's a lovely town with plenty of nice shops and restaurants."
M. Loughead, Co. Antrim
"Cambrils is an absolutely beautiful little town, and Port Aventura theme park was great."
A. Nuttall, Westmeath
"Tarragona and Tortosa were just beautiful, and we went to Barcelona on the train. It was brilliant and really straightforward. We also enjoyed riding bicycles into Cambrils."
K. Hill, Gloucestershire
"Along the seafront and the street that runs parallel to it in Cambrils there are some fantastic places to eat - particularly a small restaurant where a variety of meats were available and cooked on an open fire outside in the back - delicious!"
S. Evans, Gwynedd
