Nestling in woodland alongside the sandy beaches of the Costa Dorada, this parc is ideally placed for sightseeing, relaxing and unwinding - a perfect spot for a family holiday. And with a passion for small details, the Playa Montroig team will do their utmost to make your stay unforgettable.

Priding itself in meeting the highest of standards, this resort-style parc offers a wide range of facilities such as bars, restaurants and shops, more of which are open during high season. For 2012, you'll also find new waterslides and waterfalls within the pool complex; plus a new entertainment area by the bar giving you the chance to sit back, relax and watch the superb variety of shows on offer.

Numerous sports and leisure pursuits are available too, including the chance to try new arts and crafts. There are well-run clubs for adults and children, an activity centre, a games room and a theatre.

The breathtaking sierras and big game reserves of Tivissi, Cardó and Ports de Tortosa will each provide a day to remember, as will a trip to one of the many medieval monasteries.

Large Theme Park with 5 different areas - Far West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranea. A Great selection of rides, shows, Rollercoasters and games for the whole family. More than a million square miles of scenery. Excellent choices for places to eat and drink. Open 27/3 - 31/12 - closed weekdays in November and some in December.

Aquopolis has a full range of aquatic attractions including the Kamikaze slide, the Black Hole and the thrilling Aquamania - a triple slide, straight slides, twisting slides, river rapids, a wave pool, a hydrotherapy pool and a swimming pool with various fun attractions. As the main resort is not within walking distance we recommend that customers have the use of a car when staying at this parc. Please note road and rail noise can be heard in some areas of the parc.

Keycamp's Lifecycle Tours are available on site and will run from 5 May 2012. There's even WiFi to use across the whole parc, with free access at the main parc reception, and by the bar and restaurant.

The kids enjoyed Aquapolis waterpark in Salou but beware of paying for all the extras once you're in - €5 for a locker, €5 for a rubber ring and €5 for a sunbed! We also visited Port Aventura which the kids loved but was a bit pricey. We spent a few of our evenings in Cambrils. It's a lovely town with plenty of nice shops and restaurants."
